    J. Maki filed year-end report for IRS (990 N); also filed nonprofit annual report for state of Indiana (NP 20); also made an SOS business entity report-CC through IN.gov. Will send check of $30 to St. Mark’s in appreciation of use of space for April and May.
One potential member from Farmers Market filled out membership form, but check has not arrived. Was J. Livesay going to contact her?
Cathy will write Mike W. about possible tribute to Carl and finding key.

We discussed whether it might be too late to organize an event at Showers on the 18th.

    D.  Action Groups
Joan and Phil Harris suggest a partnership with HAND to provide information and discussion sessions about public education issues. In proposal,  ICPE would provide: 1)Timely information about current activities regarding school board elections, tax referendums  2) Meet with neighborhood associations for discussions and informational sessions, and 3) Organize and sponsor community forums.

E.  Political News

    F.  Farmers’ Market
        J. Livesay will not be able to be there for next several weeks, so volunteers would be greatly appreciated. Materials are needed—an updated membership form with correct P.O. address, a new trifold, Craig’s visual on voucher spending in Monroe County, something about REPA 3 asking folks to contact SBOE members, and possibly a petition about studying local school board district representation. A list of books? Hoosier School Heist, 50 Myths about Public Edcucation, the new Mercedes Schneider? Need to start putting up the umbrella for shade.

VI.   New Business

VII.  Other

We discussed the possibility of meeting in the evening.

Respectfully submitted,
Jenny Robinson
