*Grade 6-8 boys white or blue oxford
*Boys formal shoe requirement changed from black loafer shoe to black dress shoe. Concerned with having to purchase 2 pairs of shoes.
*Pants option was proposed for girls. K-9, navy or khaki
*Grade 9 tie color/style to be determined by headmaster
*There is also a sweater requirement: light weight for daily or regular/heavy weight for formal wear.
Terry English: concerned that girls could buy anyplace instead of a uniform distributor.
Lindsey Weaver: recommends pants be purchased through School Belles. Concerned with inappropriate fit for girls.
Jazzmin Vegeler: Concerned with cost of pants.
Terry English: strongly opposes allowing pants for girls. 'Believes young women should be TRAINED to learn proper dress. Want to teach young ladies to be young ladies'. Believes that pants diminishes girls demeanor.
Also concerned with perception that they may lose students if they allow girls to wear pants.
Matt Wolf: K-2 insists on requirements that girls wear a jumper or cardigan........either must have the school crest
