From school funding to the state superintendent's authority to the testing and grading of schools...the budget and bills this session are coming fast and furious, and actions will be taken in the next several days that could have repercussions for a generation. Your indignation and your communication with legislators, family, friends, and the press are needed today. Please read and share the following link: More Trouble for Public Education in 2015.

I am just appalled that the Governor and his appointees have "slapped us in the face" with our votes for Glenda Ritz. She got more votes than he did; he is acting like a scorned child! And, all of his Republican cronies are supporting him because the goal was to privatize education...so money can be made off of our children! That is a travesty!!! I'm ashamed of these men and women that have no respect for the people they represent!!! I am sad that I live in Indiana...I've never said that before because I've always been very proud of my heritage.

We (the people of Indiana) elected Glenda Ritz to straightedge out our Educational System in Indiana. Let her do her job and keep the legislatures out of it. She knows more about the kids in the classrooms than they do! She has been there and knows an 8 yr old doesn't need to have 18 hours of testing ........hoping it will get her teacher a good mark!!!!! Crazy! Legislatures....stay out of educational matters,,,,, Comments are closed.
